keyless entry, doors lock but don't unlock

more specifically.
when i arm the alarm, nothing happens with locks...they stay open.

when i disarm the alarm, the locks will then lock.

i have: wires on car, to wires on alarm
green w/black stripe (connected to neg out lock)
green w/purple stripe (connected to neg out unlock)
brown
white
blue

am i using the wrong wires ? (just going on some google searchs and haven't found a wire color schematic to locking in the e30 (yet).

everything else seems to be working fine, just not the locks.
they do work from the trunk + key turns.

Sounds like you have them backwards.

yea..so i wired them in both directions...if i reverse the connections, nothing happens at all.

the only way anything happens is when it locks the locks while disarming the alarm.

what does the white, and blue wire function as ?

works without any relays, actually quite nice.

fwiw, it was a bad ground.
the e30 has 2 green wires from the kick panel to the trunk, down the drivers side.
(actually, 2 green, brown, white, and blue)
green with black stripe locks
green with purple stripe unlocks.
brown is ground
white + blue are unused (i wonder if its for drivers side priority ? )
