Well after discussing this some more I am just going to do the kappa perfects in the front and run them off of a 540watt 4 channel infinity amp and bridge the other 2 channels for a sub.
Now I just have to decide on what sub I want.

Have you heard the speakers you are thinking of buying? Some people don't really like the bright sound the European speakers produce (myself included).Originally posted by dude8383how much can you get one set for? :pimp:
i see you are gonna have to do some custom fitting too..keep me updated!
I'm waiting for some Eclipse PA4212 amps to come. I'm gonna be running two of em, one for sub and the other for components. I haven't yet decided what kind of components to get...many friends have been telling me Focal's will rock my sox off.
I'm also waiting for an Infinity Perfect sub..

I got it for $115 from cardomain of all places!! So..im hoping that'll come in some time soon.
The amps you are getting are ridiculous nice. They will do just fine.Leave a comment:

I will be running 6.5s up front and in the back and the tweeters in modified stock tweeter pods.
Still undecided on the amp.

I had 2 crappy 12" speakers running off of a 300watt amp, you absolutely could not tell that they were even there.Originally posted by dude8383I'm not aiming for it to be loud and obnoxious...i just want good music to flow through my speakers..it doesn't have to be busting a nut in my ears. lolLeave a comment:

how much for box and sub then...cause you have it listed with the amp as well for $400.Originally posted by JordanThis box is made to the specifications on the subwoofer housed in it. They should be sold as a pair. Prices are listed in the FS thread.Leave a comment:

how much do you want for the box? i already have amps heading my way..so wouldn't need your complete system. i could a good deal as well for em.

I don't think you realize just how much space I have left over. Considering what is there its a very well planned out and condensed setup. That is what I designed it to be. The box is 1.5cu ft. You aren't going to get much smaller then that. Keep in mind the firewall there is a 65degree angle, and the box is angled to fit flush. As such it really takes up minimal room. It's as wide as it can be, rather then deep, to produce the right volume. Its only as deep as it needs to be to clear the basket/magnet structure, and provide ample, yet minimal air space behind sub.Originally posted by dude8383nah i dont want jordan's setup. the box that he has eats up all of the trunk space. i still want some left over for shit to throw in.
I moved across country, with all my worldly possessions in my trunk... Alot of tools, computer hardware, parts, clothing, bedding, etc etc.
For the money you aren't going to find a nicer system for a e30 then what I have for sale.Leave a comment:

haha, for some reason I knew you were looking at Crutchfield when you wanted to buy Infinity Kappa stuff.
Save yourself some money and get an Image Dynamics IDQ10 DVC. You'll thank me later.Leave a comment:

Running a small 10 is going to take work to sound loud in an e30, especially if Jordan's box is already too big.
