maraka, I have to ask why you recommend to stay away from Hifonics?
I am running a Hifonics Zeus right now, and my last amp was a Hifonics. Both of them have been some of the best amps I have worked with. They are super clean and underrated power wise from the factory. Great amps for the prices.
Need help with choosing some ice

a sick set of focal's went for $125 on ebay..i fuckin lost the auction by two god damn dollars!!!!!Originally posted by kencopperwheatDon't put shitty 6x9s in the rear. 6.5" rounds will sound much better... that is if you have to put rear speakers in.
In regards to your previous question, I highly doubt you can find a decent pair of MBs or Focals for under $200.
and there's no way im puttin 6x9's in the rear, im sure ill be quite happy with components up front.Leave a comment:

The trunk mechanism will prevent you from putting any subs in the back deck. That is unless you build some sort of custom deck and shim them up 5-6".Leave a comment:

are you gonna have room for 2 8" in the rear deck?Originally posted by chbimmerwell......on the free air subject, if you know how to do it then you will have a great sounding system. If you get a sub that has QTS values between .4 and .6 then you will have a nice sub to start with Free air. I am getting ready to run 2 infinity 8" subs in the back deck. there is a local Guy here that just took an SQ titile and he works at tweeters. I was in the shop one day talking crap about Free air and he ask me to come out to his car. he asked what i liked to hear when it came to subs so i told him the hard hitting low freq's. so he put somthing in and he had 3 JL 10 w3's in the back deck and they slammed. Then he lwt me know that they where free air. I was absolutly amazed.
I took a quick glance at my rear deck and thought that it would be way to tight to fit anything bigger than 6".Leave a comment:

kicker makes some good shit. the infinity perfect 10.1d is a good sub. i should be recieving it some time soon!Originally posted by Nick325isWell after discussing this some more I am just going to do the kappa perfects in the front and run them off of a 540watt 4 channel infinity amp and bridge the other 2 channels for a sub.
Now I just have to decide on what sub I want.
