The SQ is better with the rears?

If SQ = louder, then that would be true, too bad that's not the case.

Are the rears a different speaker?
As far as getting bass in, punch out your ski hole... thats about it if you don't want to get creative with it.

I like the sound comming from the front as well as the rear no matter how quite or loud it is. mb quart 5 1/4 in the front and i think 6.5 in the back

Nope. Not this thread. Every other audio thread...but a "how to" on removing rear speakers?

This is a Frustrated Munky if there ever was one.

BTW, punch out your ski hole, leave them rear speakers alone.

it will sound like shit with the larger speakers in the rear unless you turn the rears way down. But, why bother putting oversized back there in the first place if you will just have to turn them down?

I have only front speakers and a sub, and have no complaints.

Ooops, my bad. Thought this had the picture of the sub with the port through the back seat in it.

Maybe I should have reread this. Ain't punched out the ski hole and is talkin bout takin out rear speakers to let bass "flow?" Hmmm

Explain - what's wrong with removing the rear speakers to let a bit more bass flow through?

Just a waste of effort...won't make a difference.

Have you removed that ski boot hole panel yet?

I know "fporro" (Frank) has a seat with a fold down armrest...

If the bass seems inadequate... then I'll do it.
