where do you see a MPG gauge turned into a custom gauge for $10? that doesn't seem realistic at all. that would be the best deal of all - but are they using the econometer motor/needle or just replacing the gauge entirely?
you can rotate your needles for free and printing your own faceplate isn't hard. I think it looks kinda dumb but I can see your point about the small steering wheels.
basically that's a used cluster with a tacky looking faceplate and turned needles for $200. there's no way at that price that the entire cluster has been gone through, not unless the guy is making zero profit.

The boost gauge was something I emailed him about doing before I bought it. He said it would be ten bucks, I might have written it wrong, 10 bucks was just for the gauge, not the controller to the gauge which i already have.
It might look dumb to you, but they sell on ebay for 200+ dollars and get 30-40 bids on them, so there is a market. He wouldnt sell it if it didnt make money.

Good to hear :)
here's the wiring chart I've been working on. I *think* i got everything...
I had it all in my head and I could have probably just "got her done", but man, that would have sucked later if I didn't remember what went where.. plus now I can just follow the chart and hook everything up. easy as pie, right? :)
it looks like I won't have to really modify too many wires. there'll be enough unused C101 slots that i can run stuff between the cluster and DME through. Everything else will be modded in the engine harness which is already modded to hell anyway. The only wire I have to splice into is the ground signal on the OBC turn stalk.
