Central Locking Problems

BUT, do you know what wire you cut from where????
If so, join them back together and start again!!!!!!!!!!

Yeah I know which from where, also silly I was confused for a second by the drawing but I forget you're from England :P

So, basically just join the thicker wire with the thin wire.. ALRIGHT gonna go clean up my mistakes and try this again.

Im concerned it might be something with the passenger door, you can't unlock it manually you have to go into the door and rip out the actuator.

Change the ECU first, then go to the actuators

Try unplugging the actuators in the trunk and gas tank then put key in driver side door, turn key to lock then unlock.

What does unplugging the trunk and gas filler actuators accomplish?

Trying to understand as my CL system isn't working either.

CL system will not work if actuators are out of sync (passenger in lock position and trunk in unlock position), unplugging the trunk and gas door actuators, now we only have driver and passenger actuators, if passenger door still won't unlock, the actuator is bad

Ah right makes sense. I gather this is the same logic behind a "reset" of the system which I've read of:

1) disconnect battery
2) unlock all doors/trunk/gas cap
3) reconnect battery

Assuming all this doesn't work and the actuator is indeed bad, can this be confirmed by jumping the wires on the actuator connector to simulate the lock/unlock? If it's only the driver's door actuator that's bad, jumping the connector wires should unlock/lock everything else properly right?

I just plugged in a new clcu and still doesn't work. Going to try disconnecting.

Scrached that, was only opening and closing because the drivers side was open.

Well, the doors lock when I start the car. That is it though. I can't lock or unlock all the doors from anywhere.
