Like the newer cars, I'd like to fuse my battery cable. After doing my research, these cables are well insulated but can still result in some scary shit. I'm wondering what size fuse to use? There's a few decent reset-able fuses that seem like a good idea.

You should be fine with a 400A fusible link or fuse. Even higher will be OK, you just want to protect the cable from a direct short.Owner - Bavarian Restoration

After looking in the trunk of an e-class, it has a 320amp fuse. 400 should do the trick
Now to find a decent one that's decent.
