$80 is a fair price for them. They'll most likely sound better than anything you've heard in a car.Originally posted by 325is_e30http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&category=32818&item=3085856 913

I don't think you can bridge the internal deck amp safely.Originally posted by 325is_e30oh yeah, i have another question... is there any way to double-up the power from my head unit since im not getting rear speakers for a while and i havent found an amp yet?Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment

Yes, but aren't MBQ's bi-ampable? Meaning, he could send all 4 channels of the headunit towards the front setup. The fader would become a neat crossover adjustment. ;)Originally posted by kencopperwheatI don't think you can bridge the internal deck amp safely.Originally posted by 325is_e30oh yeah, i have another question... is there any way to double-up the power from my head unit since im not getting rear speakers for a while and i havent found an amp yet?Comment

Most MBs are biamplifiable, and that is definitely the route to take for SQ.Originally posted by MystikalYes, but aren't MBQ's bi-ampable? I'd look for a used a/d/s/ amp. One that puts out about 40x4 rms into 4 ohms. Since you have a component set you won't need to worry about the lack of x-over. And you can biamplify the component set too. I'd wait on ebay and get an a/d/s/ PQ10.2 or look for a Phoenix Gold M44. Both amps should be around $150 on eBay.Originally posted by 325is_e30cheap as in under $150
wouldnt it be better than no amp?Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment

Viper? Never heard of it... I'd pass.Originally posted by 325is_e30any opinion on Viper amplifiers? My friend offered me a 2 channel 150.2 unit for $80. It is 50x2 at 4 ohms.
Check eBay for a Rockford Fosgate 400.4 - I *think* they're a 1998 model (back when they were better quality amplifiers).Originally posted by Grueliusand i do not know what bugg brakes are.Comment
