I bet your sub sounds very pretty, Luke. Infact, I bet the system as a whole sounds pretty.
The tweeters look pretty. Good thing they aren't hard domed being in such view. I'm imagining some idiot pressing on the dome.
Mine (currently -- it changes somewhat every ~4 months it seems hah):
6.5" midranges in the stock location. I'll be switching to something in the door panels very soon.
1" Titanium domes in the stock locations. Also switching to something very similar, just tweaked a little for flatter response.
6.5" full range Pioneers that were in there when I bought the car (turned way down just so rear seat passengers get a little)
10" free air mounted ski port sub (see my thread)
Powered with a 4x100 and 2x225. I'd love to run a 6x100 I have, but we don't have enough room on the rear wall in the trunk for me to fit it.
I am hear to say that Luke's stereo is one of the best i have EVER heard. Very loud and crisp. Makes your brain rattle.
I am running in my eta (installed yesterday) infinity reference 2way 6x8 rears covered with gutted premium audio grills, in the front 5.25 inifinity reference components w/ crossover and factory tweeters. Running through a alpine 9856 HU. Sounds really good IMHO. I am happy with it for now.
In my turbo car I have stock premium audio w/ infinity tweeters (stock broke) and a Alpine 9827. Pretty happy with both setups, but eta does sound alot better with the aftermarket speakers.
Luke, That box you built for Browntowns is pretty nice and looks like it fits perfect. It would have saved me a few weeks of work if you had done a group buy or something like that.
Here's mine.
