Single DIN? Chop off the wiper control arm or euro bezel?

Double DIN means fabrication. This guy made it look easy!

x2... It sounds so easy I want to order a lilliput and get started on it. But I know better ;)

I will do it, but it will be when I can dedicate a whole week to it or something.

i have nothing to add to the double din debate...

I am just a lil shocked to hear the hatred for the e30 dash. It is one of my favorite things about the car.

I love the e30 dash but I would really like to have a built in GPS, just for aesthetic purposes. I would like to relocate the AC panel to where the cig lighter is and I would like to add a pioneer double din with GPS in the old HVAC panel.

I'll probably seek professional help with this project if I decide to do it. If not I'll upgrade to Fibreglass.

                        Its NOT BONDO!!!!

You are welcome to have your very own taste, but personally, there are so many other cars that I prefer the dash on that the E30 gets just about no points for me.

Someday, likely about 2012 (June, I guess) I will have my new dash finished.

Then, you are welcome to like or dislike it...but it will be exactly what I want.

                          Luke

You like that boring plastic lump?

I'm not even happy with the dash in my Caddy (right around '66-'68 was when they started with thick dash padding) Oh, and nothing on that dash is plastic. All of the shiny stuff is actual metal, even the A/C vents!

I like dashes that actually have some styling. If my car was a little older, i'd get to look at this:

                            2003 Lincoln Towncar | 1992 BMW 325iC | 1968 Cadillac Deville

Need some help figuring out the ETM?

that car is just sick as hell, too. Guy is an excellent fabricator, great designer...gots skillz, yO!
what I really need is for some really clever and talented person to design a sub box that fires through the ski port, ported through the premium speaker pods, with a really tidy trim panel.......and pm me with the sketches.... :)

                              Anyone come to mind ????

enclosure design is not an art form that I have aquired :(
