I told him all he had to do was buy some wood, cut it, and put it together.
I told him that his $50 woofer in one of my $250 boxes would kick the shit out of a $500 woofer in a $50 box, with half the power.
I end up yelling "it is expensive because we kick ass and you can't do this" often.
On a side note: Andy (DashboardMonkey) designed and built this box. He works with me, and has for over a year. He had done quite a bit of stereo work in his life, but nothing professional.
Now he builds shit like this right here. Let me tell you, this thing fits beautifully, and will kick ass.
Amps, subs, front and rear speakers tomorrow. We need this car done!

The calculator and our measurements.
When we build a sub box we start with a tape measure and pencil & paper.
Then a calculator.
Wood, small test pieces.
Then with a little creativity you get what is pictured above.
That box took me about 12hrs to build.
Fun stuff.
And a thank you to stereoinstaller1 for over a year now has teaching me how to install professionally.
Thanks again.

More pics: this bitch is being quite diffucult to deal with, plus I no longer seem to have a brain.

Dunno, the damn thing just rocks.
Best front stage I have ever hear in a stock location BMW install.
