JVC KD-LX50 with nice Voice Recognition and VCR Control function.
It's faceplate black out when power off. Looks good during the day and you will hardly notice.
The unit is come with the car


The look at night is too busy for me but i can live with.
Thinking about to get the CD43 and using my Nokia N8 with Radio braodcasting function to play Digital music.

JVC something... I'll get day time pix later. Its an old school tape player and has a detachable face. Also matches ok; lights up more orange/red in person. Works ok for now.

Eclipse CD5030. Excellent tuning, red lighting matches interior well, bluetooth phone connectivity is handy.

Another option Kenwood KDC-MP145. Discontinued model but still available on Amazon. Not a lot of features but looks nice and simple.

Here's another model that Crutchfield has, Kenwood KDC-248U. New item available early next year. I like the styling of the older unit better but this has more features. Once my car comes out of the paint shop I am looking to replace a funky Pioneer unit with something that is more compatible with the E30.

Blaupunkt, is a sub of BOSCH. Is Oem manufacturer for BMW/Merc/Audi/porsche and VW radios. or was. at least for the affordable classes.
takes changer, beh..bluetooth with adapter, ipod with adapter, steerign wheel remote ..with adapter :-), 10 languages manual?,..adjustable colors. :-) if i remember right Sirrus Sattelite , with adapter of course.
Subout is adjustable , so are bass, middle, treble. basic frequency settings for each output.
