    Covers for Frame Locking Pins

I've read several times over the years that there are supposed to be rubber/plastic covers for the pins on the convertible top frame front locks. I purchased part # 54311971255, which is part #27 on the attached diagram. Assuming this is the right part, how do I secure them to the pins? They will fit over the pins, but they seem to be hard plastic with no obvious way to secure them. I tried pushing them into the holes in the windshield header with the same result - they sit in there with no obvious way to secure them.

    Thanks, Cory

Thanks. Guess I need to push harder. Didn't see anything on the pins that would hold them. They have no flexibility whatsoever, so maybe I'll heat them up a little bit too.

I just lightly tapped mine in with a rubber mallet, They sort of snap on once you get it down far enough.
