Is this original E30 vert shock?

thanks for the info. it was more an interest. Just like to know what my car may have been through. since the inserts are completely within the strut, the PO may not have known what shock his independent shop in Castro Valley may have put in. I tried searching ECSTUNING but no luck.
Searched EBay. found Mookeeh shocks that color. looks like cheap shocks.

My 91 325is shocks are black. Car has 30k miles and never been replaced. Red would prob be Koni replacements.
