ECS has some new oem mats for sale:

those are nice mats and the price is pretty good. any oem bmw mats that i have seen have the bmw logo embroidered on them. i wonder what the parameters for "oem" are. perhaps the factory found a new supplier?

I had these in my vert. I got them from Gutenparts. I was told these were only sold in Europe only and were used as winter mats. They are OEM

OE would be BMW branded. OEM means it supposedly came from the same factory but without the logo. I find it hard to believ BMW branded mats would only be $99, especially since the last set I bought from a dealer was about 10 years ago and I believe I paid $150 for a set of 4

Do our cars have the tie ins? The screw downs or whatever they're called. The mats I have now (not original, but bmw) don't have tie downs, and neither does my carpet

I have seen the ones that screw down into your carpet but I prefer the ones that don't

The factory mats I bought had grommets and came with plastic screws to anchor them (so nothing in the carpet) My Audi has factory lugs in the carpet that the mats snap on to...a better system IMO since the BMW screws did eventually start to wander
