    Rear window protection?

I've been looking into getting an OEM rear window (Part #51431943740) cover but I missed the latest one to pop up on ebay.

Does anyone know how different the z3 rear window is from the e30? They seem to be more readily available and I also found this for a reasonable price:

Thank you everyone for the advice. I think I might look into making one, it seems like a pretty simple item

                  An Option

I personally made a E30 rear window out of glass that is removable. If you are interested let me know.

Yes, but the time involved would be a major waste. Then once out hope it don't rain so you have to reinstall it.

Personally, my approach would have been different. In the 80’s, Chrysler k cars had a glass back window with a horizontal silicone hinge in the middle.
