              Holy shit! I wonder if that’s tempered glass or simply laminated glass. automotive glass is tempered but house glass is typically laminated.

                          Is it glass or lexan/polycarbonate? That's a pretty complex shape for a piece of glass, and a lot of weight.

                                      Yes I think 1 of 3. I read an article about it somewhere. They were built by bmw for a high ranking bmw employee and his family I believe.

                                              Windshields are laminated and car doors are tempered. Sliding glass doors are also tempered as are windows that are less than 24" above the floor. I'm not aware of a routine application for laminated glass in a house.
