I got some blue ones now - there is no harness with them, so does anyone know the pin layout for them? I will then just make some push on connectors.

      Thank you!

Done - light comes on - all buttons work. I used stock e30 wires to e36 blue base pins. (switch without the e36 harness part)

has anyone installed one of the large white base switches in the rear? ive tried to follow BDsax's wiring but i either blow a fuse or the e36 switch doesnt work and the switch in the console works backwards. ive tried switching around the wires but nothing. and never has the e36 switch work. i also used two different switches just incase it was a dud. any advice?

                      Is it a one touch?
I think I have white bases in my front....
                      Did you fry the switch?
                      Yours truly,

I ordered 5 blue switches and 5 flush things so I let you know how they worked
                          5 switches x 17.00
                          5 flush thing x 2.00

I don't know if this was covered, but does anyone know if the dealership carries the wiring harness for the BLUE BASED Switches (PN BLUE: 61 31 1 393 361) as indicated in the DIY??
