I know there is a write up about this, and I have read it and followed its photos to wire the switches. Somehow it still doesn't work.
Please tell me if I wired this correctly.
Driver side
E36 switch wire - E30 wire
BLue - Purple
black - black
Green/Blue - Brown
Blue/ Green - Green/Grey
Black/ yellow - Brown
Passenger side
BLue - Purple/ Gray
Black - Black
Green/Grey - Brown
Blue/ green - green/grey
Black/ yellow - Brown
When I connected them, my passenger side rolled up. But both windows won't roll down. Also, i notice one of the wires were starting to heat up so I turned the power off and resorted to asking for help here.
SO hopefully, the sarcastic people would stay away and the knowledgeable ones share their wisdom regarding this matter.
I do not know electrical and I based everything to what I see and the color codes. So please guide me in the right direction.
