I'd like to remove my pinstripes, they're old and ugly. I'm worried the paint underneath might look too different from the rest of the paint, although it all looks great. What's the best way?
Is there any good way to remove pinstripes?

Heat it up (air dryer). Peel that crap off, and get some bumpersticker adhesive remover for the stuff that's left. The BMW 318 is back. With a vengeance.Comment

i had been loking for it, but gave up and did it all by hand. as for the adhesive, rubbing compound and some elbow grease. then buff the car, cause after that you wont be able to feel your arm anyway.

A eraser wheel is best used on pinstriping that is no longer soft, and cannot be pulled/scraped off easily.

i could pull mine off by hand if i worked slowly. Went over the area with the bug/tar remover stuff afterwards and it cleaned up any residue left behind.Just a little project im working on

After you get all the razor off, and give the car a quick polish/wax it should look pretty good.~ Go Canucks Go! ~
