    those ramps look heavy, could probably get away with less in material

      True, but I can easily carry them by myself, and I was not about to under-build something that holds a 3300# car every night.

        1+ better to build it right than under build it and worry. As a contractor I would have done the same supporting.

        At HF comments of using their scissor lifts...do you really want to be under something from HF that is holding up a car? fuck no hahaha
