my GC sleeves in the front don't sit around the strut housing very tightly. Is the supposed to be some sort of spacer? Or is it alright. Seems like I have 1-2 mm clearance.
IMO they should fit tight. The Camaro version of their front coilover kit fit very tight....
However it also shouldn't hurt anything if they don't. You will simply make it easier to adjust them if they are tight.sigpic

awesome info in here.
I just bought the GC conversion kit with G60 front billy sports.
Has anyone found out where to get a neoprene sleeve that's only a mill thick? That seems like a hard find. Electrical tape is messy as fuck after a month or so.
Maybe hockey tape? I don't know how long that lasts though. Haven't played since I was 8...
Also, does anyone sell super low profile helper springs? The ones pictured on pg 6 look like they add over an inch of ride height.Last edited by Moto-Mucci; 02-02-2009, 02:27 PM.

In Chicago, sealing up the sleeves might not be a good idea. You may end up with water/salts trapped between the sleeve and the housing, which will make a great home for rust to start eating your housings, and you will never know...until it's too late.
Ground Control has HELPER springs which are only about 15mm compressed.
