Hey Ritalin, one more question for you. On the rear apron that you installed, did you hack out all of the inside part of the apron, leaving just the external skirt itself? I went to Joe's to get mine today, and we hacked out everything, including the spare tire well and the battery tray, because obviously, it's not going to mount if all of that stuff is in the way. Any information you can give me on how you did your install would be great!

Yeah... That was the most teidious part. We had to use a cut off wheel to hack out much of the metal still on the inside. Once we were finished all we had left was the outside shell.

Perfect, that's exactly what I needed to know. Joe and I used a sawzall and cut out damn near everything in there, I'm just going to have to do a little more, and get it a little more cleaned up.

                          Its pretty good.
You should retitle it and make it a sticky.

Do you have to make these mods for an 88 or can you just put a platic bumper on?

On all e30's the front is a direct replacement of the valance, bumper and bumper shocks.

On the rear is where the -87 cars need a extra work.

On the 88 cars it is direct replacement of the bumper and shocks.
However should cover up or fill the holes along the rear panel where the old, now unused, bumper surround screwed into.
Depending on the color of the car simple duct tape will do to conceal these holes.
