PLEASE Help! E30 4/100 .. going from 15/7 wheel to 16/7.
I'm currently running 15/7 wheels with 205/50s....and like to increase height. I'm going to a 16/7 wheel with 195/55 . The offset is 40 on the 16/7 and the hub centric rings fit perfectly on the OEM hub at 57.1.
Unfortunately, the rims are rubbing severely on both front struts.
In the front control arms I have offset felt in m3 bushings on the lollipops.
Would that affect the angle of the wheel inward ,causing the rubbing?
1) Has someone experienced this issue ,if so,what action was taken to correct the issue?
2) Would a 5mm or 6 mm to an 8mm work and solve the issue?
3)what size bolts or studs should be used?
