it actually is legal in washington state.. you need to have showing the state name, the numbers, and if it's the rear you need the tabs.

however, there's not really any point. it'd probably look worse. nobody is going to point and laugh at your car because the plate is 1/8" below the plate filler, 99% of the people who see your car won't even know you have a plate filler!

I was mainly thinking of the front, since I've seen that on a few cars, and it looked pretty nice. (for when I get plastic bumpers on my 88)

I think I'll just be daring, and not have a front license plate. Screw cops... :twisted:

I had some insulation foam behind mine on the eta and there was no rattling.

Mine doesn't rattle. Alpine Type-R 10" in a sealed box w/ 250 rms.

A couple rear shots of my license plate filler... not sure if im gonna paint it the color of the car or keep it black...As you can see, the holes line up perfectly. no drilling cutting, etc..

yes, but yours is the US filler. Look closely and they are quite different.
