Holes are already in the chassis.

Yep, I found this out the hard way. Ordered new 12mm bushings for my 87 325, did not bother to check since they are all 12mm (ex the ix and M3). Go to put them in and could not figure out what was wrong until I saw the 13.5 marked on the old bushings.

Yes, I added the sways from a 325is to my 84 318. The rear bar is definitely bolt on. There are tabs on the trailing arms and chassis for the bar. You just need the bar, links, and hardware. It's not that bad of a job. Put the links on the bar before you bolt the bar in under the car. Then you'll need to put the rear of the car on jackstands, remove one wheel and spring on the same side. Then slide the bar straight in over the diff, orient it correctly and bolt it in to the chassis. Then put the spring back in and wheel back on and then lower the car a bit. Then bolt the links onto the trailing arm tabs and lower the car all the way down. Adding the rear bar to the 318 made a HUGE difference in handling.

    Correction:

What you have listed is currently how the RD bars come (22mm/19mm). A few years ago Racing Dynamics actually offered two different bar sets for the E30. The 22/19 set was for the E30 M3. They offered a non-M E30 specific set with a 22mm front bar and a 16mm rear bar. I am lucky to have one of these sets and I don't there are many around.

    HTH,
