et42 with a 7.5" wheel will not clear the strut. a 20mm spacer with longer lug bolts would be needed to make those work. a 15mm spacer may work, but if you want to use 225's then you'd be cutting it very close -
I'm 7.5" wide ET20 and no rubbing or fender touching, and my car is lowered about 2.5" in the front! 205 tires though. If you ran 16x8" with 225's I think it would fit with a 25-27mm offset.Originally posted by Mystikal8" wide wheel? You'll very likely have to roll your fenders to stuff those under there, but you're looking at ET20 or below. If you keep to 7.5" wide, ET25 will work and your fenders can stay virginal.Originally posted by kylebes1No cars do not have offset, I agree,
I guess I want to know if I go to a 8 inch wide wheel and tire, what offset do I need to end up with, consider as well that my car is dropped about 1.5 inches.Leave a comment:

Of course I know our cars our rear wheel drive, its the reason they handle the way they do, its why bmws are cars for drivers and why they perform well, its why we buy bmws! I guess I'm just trying to find a nice looking wheel that not many other guys are using on their e30's. If the wheels are for fwd what is the difference? Just the offset? And if the offset is +42mm is that enough to where I need a spacer?Leave a comment:

Well these come with spacers for the e30 setup.
I was just wondering about quality, I mean you usually get what you pay for, and these are round 600 I think including spacers and longer bolts.Leave a comment:

Usually. And you can actually run 8" wide wheels, ask Ryan Stewart for advice on offset.
Just get Ronals, they are cheap, strong, 7.5" wide, and look awesome with no spacer requirement. I'd be surprised as hell if you found 4x100 wheels that don't require spacers on E-bay (besides BBS RS', etc.).Leave a comment:

I have an early car btw, I guess 7 inches would be enough, so et25? I think I found a set I like, but I wonder if ebay wheels are as cheap as Depo lights.Leave a comment:

Car's don't have offsets. Stock baskets are ET30, 15" ones are ET24 even.Originally posted by kylebes1ours are 35mm offset right?Leave a comment:

RWD does not necessarily mean low offsets, keep that in mind.Originally posted by Eurospeed88Keep in mind that Honda fitment is FWD, and our cars are RWD, so it's a big difference.Leave a comment:
