This is what he wrote. Also you can buy Maf housings for $44 its strange how you got quoted $800 for the whole lot. I would've gotten rid the w.a.r chip and Maf if I were required to pay that much to get it going.

The WAR Room was removed because it was the root of a vulnerability that was exploited twice in a month resulting in a "black list" status on Google. To be removed from the black list, we had to remove the malicious software that kept being injected to our site and eliminate the risk of future attacks. Easiest solution was to remove the WAR Room.

Because the WAR Room was a paid membership thing, it will be revived in the form of a database built into the windows software. Those who have paid their dues will be able to use the "WAR Room" again soon in a much easier and convenient manner.

Ya of coures I can't find the email I receaved from him with the quote.
but it was 40 for the maf body and around 800 for just the tune beacuse I didn't need the hole kit.
The site show 650 for the tune now, Humjet that's $622.29aud on top of what you paid for the war chip/maf kit..

at the time it was and still is cheaper to buy the MS2 with 3.1.1
from whodwho and be totaly hooked up..

Isnt $650 for the maf and tune.
The whole pakage is $1050-$150 for injectors and another -$250 for the w.a.r chip. That leaves $650 for the tune and Maf. I already have the Maf so I just need the tune, it can't cost $650 for a tune that would be a plain robbery. I always thought $250 was for the tune?

I was actually following this thread during the time I purchased the Maf and w.a.r from you. But I wasn't completely subscribed to e30tech at the time to post any comments.
Thankfully for me it isn't the end of the world if the tune is ridiculously expensive. I know this guy runs a shop that works mostly on e30 bmw's. He does many swaps such as m50's, s38's, Sr20 ect.
And is the local distributor of the Miller Maf and W.A.R chip and tunes all his bmw's with that. That's why I purchased it off you because I know their is local support for Miller products. Unlike Megasquirt. He should be able to do me a good price on tuning since I might buy parts of my turbo kit through him and maybe he can assemble it for me depending on my laziness.

For what its worth I am getting my M42 up and going on VEMS. I got a plug and play harness from Gunnar to plug into the factory one. You might want to keep an eye on how things work out for me if you end up going that direction. Personally, I think standalone is the only way to go.
