WAR Chip management with Vanos M50

Sup guys. I'm picking up a Vanos M50 and putting it on a stand and turbo readying it to drop in when it's all finished. What are you guys opinion on the WAR Chip for management? And why should I go WAR over megasquirt? I'm looking for drivability and reliability and practicality, not so much big numbers.

Get this. You'll be much happier in the end and it's about the same price.

^^^there are no pnp kits available for the 88pin m5x motors.

I'd get one of these. The guy selling this is a genius and I wouldn't have a problem spending my money on one of his products.

Here is some info on VEMS, you can be the judge.

          Why downgrade?
Unless he goes MS3 full sequential, Megashits is a downgrade from the factory DME.
Plus it uses desktop grade computer hardware while the DME is proven for 30+ years of service in a vehicle environment.

Go WAR, its easier for the end user if you are not looking for advanced controls used in standalones.
If you are, go VEMS if you are on a budget, or go Motec/Autronic/EFI/blah blah.

wow, lots of hyperbole in this thread. :|

if you want to talk specific pros/cons of one solution over another, fine, but don't be a child.

Buy an Ostrich2.0, download TunerPro and keep the stock ECU.
