Dont go aem. Its a good computer. But unless you are a wiring guru you will have issues.

Also, specific to your car kam, I saw a picture on the net a couple weeks back with your engine bay showing the MAF. And it finally clicked why you were having so many issues. You had that MAF welded into the pipe directly. Those MAF's MUST remain in the plastic housing they come with because they have to have that air flow straightener in front. The BOSCH MAF we use on the M20 has a terrible time sans air flow straightener. Just an FYI.Comment

I have also noticed MAF's like to have as much straight pipe in front of it as you can get, one pipe diameter at the least, and yes, the waffle in front of the element is important. We have air straightening waffles in front and behind the pitot on our flow benches as well. Turbulent air is difficult to read proprly.Comment

As Firebird says, you can run bigger injectors, but when you run larger than what the tune is designed for, you run into problems since we don't allow the end user to play with the air flow table or the injector constant(s). We don't have any base tunes set up for M20 turbo stuff for more than 30# injectors. Although, now we will have to do 36 or 42's since 30's are no longer available from BOSCH and 36's are being discontinued as well.

Anyone know if Miller even have .mpc files downloadable from their site? I had one delivered today and expected to chose between a number 'of easily identifiable' tunes. Rather than the database provided which is clear as mud. All I was after was a base tune for a bored and stroked 2.9, which I assumed would be a peice of piss. Not the fuckaround of what I have here. Anyway, If anyone has any idea where to get these from it would be appreciated.sigpicComment

What exactly is "dissasembly code" ?
HakkenTT said he discovered the famed constants. Was it you or him, or are you him?URL: www.dsylva-tech.caComment

Hi, I have had a WAR chip and miller MAF for the last 4 years and I have never had my car running probably. I have even purchased an innovate unit to read the air/fuel mixture using an LC1 wideband sensor, this at least showed me that the map supplied to me by Brody was extremely rich. I have got improvement out of lean the map out but it does odd things every so often.
I would not recommend the WAR chip after my experience I would go down the Megasquirt path and this is what I will be doing in the next 4 weeks.

I am just using the stroker base tune (supplied with chip), and its running very rich also (I have war chip & MAF) but in saying that, I am using just a base tune, have been trying to get hold of Brody to play with a couple more anyway.
Before dyno etc...sigpicComment

Most likely any "base tune" is going err on the side of caution by running rich with the intention of avoiding a potentially dangerous lean condition. I think the WAR chip needs some dyno time to getting the best A/F ratio.Never argue with stupid people, they will drag you down to their level and beat you with experience. -Mark TwainComment

I'm not sure if I would take that as an accurate review of the chip.Comment

I totally agree, it was me with the base tune I think, not the 4 year guy. In saying that the difference between the 'power chip' in the car that was dyno'd (a long while back) is chalk and cheese. The WAR chip and MAF made a very noticeable difference even using the standard base tune. The only problem that I have is dynos aren't very 'thick on the ground' where I am!sigpicComment
