Car: Alpinweiss II automatic '88 325i w/ m50 injectors (light green)
Just received my $30 ebay chip from bargains_oc.
Overall great performance upgrade for the price.
Doesn't feel like +30 hp like the description says, but
All the mid-range power that was missing is now there.
Just smooth acceleration throughout the power band.
Now just looking for LSD (acid) and m30 AFM.
Loving my e30 :).

The eBay chip is legit. I spent $30 now my rev limit is like 6700. A tiny bit more hp. And smoother and a tad more gitty up. I think it can be a hit or miss. Idk. I took the chance and liked it a lot

I actually bought the same one for my 318is.
its not bad for $30. the really only change I felt is that the rev limiter is a little increased and just a teeewit quicker. No serious gain in hp or anything though...

Yeah, it would be stupid, except the fact that there's a reason you won't be able to get anything for an E30 that isn't cheap chinese garbage at some point, because of guys like you who don't get why it hurts the community.

Do you guys realy think some guy is selling a full tune for barely more than the cost of one memory chip, after spending hours learning how to tune it himself and making a real, quality tune? or is the more plausable answer that he bought a real chip (or just downloaded a pirated ROM image) and is now cloning them using a standard chip burner?

If you don't know something as fact, don't state it as such.

It COULD be a copy, or it could just be some guy that raised the rev limiter and called it a tune. You, nor I know either way. Hell maybe someone felt bad about the outrageous prices given the age of the vehicle and decided to take their own personal tune and sell it at dirt cheap prices.

We simply don't know, so don't go around accusing new members of stealing from anyone.

Now, if you would like to make these claims, why don't you buy an Ebay chip or borrow one and compare the tunes? I have one I'll drop in an envelope and mail to you if you would like to take on the task. Otherwise, please stop. I'm not arguing for or against ebay chips, I'm just being a voice of reason here.
