    WAR Fuel Tuning

Hey all, I sold a Miller WAR turbo tuning pack to a close buddy and he's having some issues tuning it. He's not a member but I said I'd see if anyone had anything to say on here. He is having a lot of trouble with his car running very rich. He has a 42# injector base tune and is running 30# injectors and can't lean it out.

I know this sounds vague so far but I don't know any more about his situation. If anyone had some general, helpful tips on how to properly adjust the fuel tables it would be much appreciated. And in case anyone was wondering, he has already got in touch with Miller and they were pretty bad on getting back to him or taking him seriously. Thanks guys.

How rich is it running? Correct fpr?

Enough that he can't drive it. He hasn't changed out his FPR and it was working before. Honestly I haven't talked to him about it recently maybe he's sorted it out. Also I'll send you a PM right away on that engine.

If he is using 30# injectors on a 42# base tune, he would be super lean. Does he have an AFR gauge to actually know what AFR's are or is he assuming it is rich because it can't drive? If he is truly rich with 30's on a 42# tune, he has massive leaks of metered air.

Is the MAF wired in properly? Has he run through the troubleshooting manual to ensure he is wired up?

Is he running the MAF in draw through as he is supposed to with a recirculation valve instead of blowing off to atmosphere like he is supposed to?

It is pretty hard to offer proper technical support when details aren't provided in full. Maybe that is why he felt we didn't take him serious? We also have a hard time supporting someone who is not the original customer since part of the price paid for a kit is the after purchase support. With all the dealers and sales of our own, we are pretty swamped providing support for actual customers.

He Brody. I just reread my original message and it sounded like I was pissed when I really am not. My bad man I've run some of your products and really like them I just wanted to convey that he had contacted you. And it's fair enough that you have to deal with first-hand customers so sorry for sounding like a dick. I have a feeling he wasn't recirculating his BOV, but I know he had the MAF set up in draw through. Thanks for your help!
