MS2 engine revving all the way up

Driving to work I pinned it and when I pushed the clutch in to shift the engine revved up and when in gear with my foot off the gas it would accelerate. Throttle cable is fine. Butterfly flap isn't stuck or anything. Any help please.

Sounds like the idle control valve maybe the issue, with the key on does the idle control valve buzz?

Try hooking up to TS and see what the idle signal is and does it go into closed loop? Does your TPS signal go to 0%

Tps was at 0. Someone else mentioned idle air. Guessing I popped it right out. I'll have to check when I get home. I'm sure that should be it. Thanks again man

Could be just the elbow popped out of the throttle body

That happened to me last night as night, looks like Keith diagnosed it right away.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.
