Megasquirt setup questions, can anyone help?

I've been trying to get a hold of whodwho but I know hes a busy guy so if anyone could give me some insight on my dump questions I would really appreciate it!

The car is a 88ix 2.8L stroker, 81mm crank, 8.5:1 cr stock ingintion for now with 60lb deka injetors. the board is version 1.2 with ms2extra 3.3.3 firmware.

Is there a base tune for this firmware? I downloaded the one from diyautotune for 42lb injectors but i get a ton of compatibility warnings, should i just injore those if there's no newer base tune? If you have a good base tune can you please send it to me?

I bought this board used and the po said it ran with a stock tps, and i have a variable one installed. I can see two jumpers on the board that have tps printed on one and vtps on the other, both have jumpers installed, do I just remove one of them, and which I've?

Can i use the same wire from the wideband sensor that goes to my afr gauge and splice into it to go to the stock o2 sensor wiring, or do I need to configer the second output(yellow wire) from the wideband?

Can you tell me the pinout of the options port, i cant find any info anywhere. Ill be looking to to launch control and wasted spark soon.

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks,
    Stevan

I can't answer all of your questions but I do have a couple of answers. First, as far as injectors go, you may want to swap in the stock ones for startup. When I swapped to the 32# injectors I have in mine, it was in the 10 AFRs the first few startups. And that was after I had adjusted the req_fuel for larger injectors. I could try and send you my .msq setup on my 3.1L stroker with 32# injectors. I know it atleast starts up. I had to update the firmware before I was able to get the whodwho to work. I may also have the base tune whodwho sent me for my startup. But 60 pound injectors will be very rich if not set up right. (that is like 4 times larger than stock)

Not sure on the tps, but my car had the vtps jumper setup. It still ran it at first with the regular switch style tps because on my enrichment settings I have it set for 100% MAP based and 0% TPS based. Only issue was at 70% throttle it would cut out. Below 70% throttle it would pick back up. I bet it is set up for the vtps, the switch style tps just isn't useful. I have since switched to a vtps but haven't changed my accel enrichment yet.

What wideband are you running? If you have the AEM UEGO you can have it send a signal to the ecu and it will also display on the gauge. I put it in P04 mode before megasquirt (0-1 v) and then P00 mode now (0-5 v) for ms2 to interpret it. There was 2 wires needed, one was a signal and one was ground. The other two were for heating elements on the wideband. I spliced in a connector to the wideband side so I could connect the wideband to the original oxygen sensor connector on the engine harness. Seems to work great once I got it wired up correctly.

Good luck, let me know if you want those .msq files.

No one makes this car anymore. The government won't allow them, normal people won't buy them. So it's up to us: the freaks, the weirdos, the informed. To buy them, to appreciate them, and most importantly, to drive them.

Started up first try! I had to take alot of fuel out of the ve table and a little bit of timing out of it but it's idling pretty good so far thanks for the help guys!

              Excellent! 8^)

If it is running rich overall try lowering the require fuel and you may not have to alter the table so much and wont throw the other fuel related settings off, you are looking for roughly ~100 VE at 100 kpa at the RPM around your highest load.

Ok I'll keep that in mind. I played with it more yesterday and I was able to bring the little bit of timing back and I lowered the reg_fuel a bit to bring the ve map back I closer to where it was. Its idling around 13.5-14 afr and it still surges a little bit around 800 to 900 rpm. I'm staring to learn my way around tuner studio more and more so I'll keep reading and playing with it until I figure it out. But as of now the car isn't drivable yet I just wanted to make sure it would fire up when I get the turbo on, and I wanted to test my manifold for leaks. Hopefully in the next few weeks I'll have everything done and I can really start to playing with it.
Id like to get a few hundred miles on it before I go to the dyno so the turbo breaks atleast but I'll see how confident I am with my tuning to be able to drive around without boost Atleast
