from the crappy pics, it really looks like there are two different exhausts out there. it would be great if we can have someone clear this up.

just spoke to the sale rep, they say, they are the mfg. But they do not know if the other ebayer buys from them or not.

This is getting very interesting, considering its almost 80% more on the other one 180 vs 300. I think I might bite teh bullet and get the 180 one and post it up.

I just went ahead and ordered the $300 free shipping one. Looks to be the IE copy.

I asked the seller for better pics of the $119+$60 shipping one. He said sure but I never received any pictures.

Will let you guys know about the $300 muffler.

I email the seller as well, and try to get a confirmation on what the item is, and he never got back to me. But I did ask someone who recently bought the 180 dollar one and he said it looks really clean, and he apparently is a aircraft welding inspector. So its more than likely to be the same thing.

I mean, only one mfg makes this, and the chances of a copy of a copy of a copy from a different mfg is not impossible, but its improbable.

The $180 one looks the same as others. If it is what the seller claims to be, that's what you want.

take a look in post #15 on the page 1, thats' the same exhaust as the $199 exhaust linked in post #57 and also here.

in the pictures, you can clearly see the X-pipe, and the exhaust tips have a inward roll on them.

if you take a look at the link I posted above in post #62 (the $299 one, scroll down for better pics), you can see clearly in the pictures that there is no X-pipe, and the tips are cut at an angle. the two are different.

I'm guessing the IE one is more like the $299 version?

yes i see what your saying. there are two different exhausts then. the 299$ is more like the IE one. i wonder which is best however?

this one looks different than the $199 plus $40 shipping one. if you look closely, the tips are cut at an angle instead of "rolled". and also, the pipes near the flanges don't have an X-pipe.

I wanted to get the $199 one but they're all sold out and will not get anymore for another 6 weeks.

Now, I'm entertaining the $299 free shipping one.

looks exactly the same to me. i dont see rolled tips or x-pipes in the IE one either.

Loud level.... Its quiet, almost OE level when it is cold. It gets a bit louder once it warms up, but this could be my car being old and me reusing exhaust gaskets near the headers.
