I got one for free. It's the same as the ireland engineering catback. I like how it sounds with my m52

Don't think it is same as IE one as IE one is 300 bucks more.

Uhh, it's ebay dude. All chinese replica's are cheaper on ebay than from real vendors. They're exactly the same.

no wai, you mean IE has some stuff sourced from china?

oh, but their headers are DEFINITELY not made in china, the same thing you can buy on ebay for $100. right? :p

Can anybody confirm if these are the same exhausts for sure as IE. I was about to order the IE one but if its the same, might as well save the cash!

What are your guys opinion on this custom setup, will this be a good setup for a chipped motor with 19 pound injectors and a maf?

-Magnaflow 36037 California emissions catalytic converter
                -Magnaflow 14416 mini muffler/resonator
                -Magnaflow 14579 muffler

The piping is stock size to the catalytic converter, then it increases to 2.5" from the cat to the resonator, then is 2.5" from the resonator to just before the muffler where it is flared to 3". The muffler is 3" in and 3" out with a down/side swept tip. The goal was to make it look close to stock and to keep the noise level down for daily driving. Unfortunately I don't have a sound clip or any footage of the exhaust for you to hear, but it was very close to stock sounding until wide open throttle, where it was slightly louder. There was NO drone at all in any part of the rev range.

No opinions, anyone running anything similar to this? You this is a big improvement over stock will also be adding headers down the line.

My buddy has a very similar setup to that on his m50, with the ebay headers. Sounds like shit, and he knows it. He can't wait to try something else...

Edit: and btw, it is a well known fact that Ireland's catbacks are identical to ebay... I don't know why you need confirmation... That being said, I'm happy with the one I got for free (IE/ebay)

I emailed IE asking about there exhaust and they replied right away about the size. I then asked if it was the same item as the one being sold for a quarter of the price on ebay as the specs are identical. They have not replied in over a few weeks. I wonder if that is a yes?!?

Fitment was OK, but needs some adjustment.

I picked mine up after reading this thread. No packing material so the tips got beat up. The fitment was decent. The sound is all motor now which is pretty nice. Slowed it down just a bit - my old exhaust was completely rusted out so it was like straight pipes lol.

Anybody have pictures with an E30 with this setup on? Want to see how the tips fit.
