    custom exhaust options.

hey guys, bought some ebay headers and hacked up my stock pipes, now left with 3 options.

cost aside, what would be best for a DD car that i drive 'spirited-ly?'

Can anyone weigh the benefits of a single vs stock dual?

Custom exhaust: 2.5" mandrel bent will allow you to enjoy the most of your new headers. Cons: can be pricey.

Stock exhaust: Quiet and won't attract negative attention. Cons: not the best flowing.

Roger, thanks. I've figured I'm in this far, if I need to fix the leaks, might as well do it right.

depends on what you're looking for. if you want the most power then go all out if you're looking to not attract attention then stock it is...

you can buy boxes of take-off mandrel bends on ebay for about $40. They are basically rejected bends from big exhaust manufacturers but they're perfect for putting together your own exhaust.
