IE shorty headers for 2.5i

Does any1 have a pic of them installed from UNDER the car?......Im thinking about getting them but I just did a custom y pipe 2.5 " exhaust and wonder if I can still utilize all the work($$$$) w/ these headers.

I don't see why not.. did you have your new exhaust welded from the cat back?

Slightly off topic, but will these bolt up to an M20B27? Once I build my new head, I'll be enlarging the exhaust ports to 325i size, possibly flaring them out at the openings to gasket size, so I'll be looking for some headers to compliment the new top end. Not a bad price on the IE's, so they're the ones I'm looking at.

Yeah, they will fit. People put 325i manifolds on etas.

I don't see why not.. did you have your new exhaust welded from the cat back?

From the new y pipe, to cat, to rear muffler we did some welding and some u clamps. I did not want system to be totally one piece. After more research it seems like the IE headers come w/ downpipes that attach IN FRONT of x pipe. Here is a pic of where y pipe was installed/welded just after oe x pipe....
