Alright so i've been thinking for a long time about bosting my e30 and i have been tossing exhaust ideas around in my head for a while
Still not sure exactly what i'm doing for the turbo side of things; more than likely a HX35 with a budget friendly build. nothing too crazy
First things first, i have a theory i'd like to run by you turbo guys out there:
Will using an RPM activated exhaust cutout cause any unwanted problems for the turbo or tuning? I was thinking of having it set around 3000rpm so i will be able to cruise and idle nice and quietly like a snake in the grass hehe. but really, i'd like to keep the fact that i'm boosted as concealed as possible so i can fit in in traffic and don't put a target on myself.
Idea 1: 3" downpipe to cutout, resonator, 2.5" Borla dual in/out and loop it through like a Mugen twin loop with a turndown (will be cutting the tire well as to mount the muffler sideways for space)

Idea 2: 3" downpipe to cutout, magnaflow 3" in/dual 2.5 out to the same borla and just straight through to turndowns.
Any thoughts and feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Corey
