Got the Remus installed. Considering removing cat tomorrow

Im going to a shop who is going to remove the cat for me. The car is not loud at all with the remus right now (which is OK) So i feel like i have a bit of auditory wiggle room.

I was planning on having the cat removed.

Does anyone have any thoughts/advice on this? Do you will think it will be TOO loud?

Any info or opinions appreciated. Thanks.

Heres how it sounds now (keep in mind its an underground parkade)

My experience with removing the cat is just rasp.
Remove the last resonator instead. Sounded great on my brother's early model with a late model exhaust.

DONT remove the cat. you will hate yourself. keep the resonator too. m42 cars have 1 cat 1 resonator system.

It depends on if you still have the factory cat/resonator on the car. Most aftermarket cats (mid pipe) don't have a resonator at all.

I am running loudest/worst possible sounding setup (straight, dual pipes to Remus) and it is not loud. It is louder than yours in the video but the sound quality is also worse. The tone of yours is great, put an X pipe where your cat is if you decide to remove it.

                    It's a pipe, shaped like an X? :)

Two inlets, two outlets, open to each other at the center of the X

If you look closely, you can see why they are referred to as an "X" pipe.
