I think they are stock bmw wheels with fake bbs lug covers, not exactly sure. I'm going to call them real bbs's muwhahaha
I drove my car to this exhaust place and they lifted it and were looking at it and then were like yo come check this. So I walked in and they tell me there is no where to weld it and it's not thick enough to weld. It's an m20 conversion so the tranny is different so when I asked if I could buy a new exhaust they said no because the tranny would hit it. So they told me they couldn't weld it or fix it for me at all besides HANDMAKING a new exhaust plus a stock muffler for like 800$. I was willing to spend a whopping SIX 20's man! so my 6 20's weren't enough and I was like aite I have to work mad hard before I have 800$ to lay down on a whole new exhaust. So then this guy hung it up so it didn't touch the ground while driving like it did before, and when I got home the exhaust was overlapping, the opposite of what it used to be. The problem I was having originally was that they wanted to pull apart, but now they wanted to be too close, which is amazing. SoI pulled the back pipe back, it sits well and doesn't want to go anywhere, and I clamped that b! Drove it pretty hard today and it works. I'm really excited! I was all bumming because I just got the car and I was like maaaan 800$!
TL;DR willing to spend 120$ they couldn't weld it, fixed it at home
Thank you so much!! It feels amazing so have my own car, and I never thought the first car I owned would be a 1989 325i lowered with an m3 wing and stuff. It feels good to have a canvas I can play around with and tweak and repair. I think some day I'm just gonna ball out and get a full new system when this one rusts at the joints. Thanks for the adviceBMW tech

Alright, There should be an exhaust hanger bracket bolted to the bottom/back of the G260 (assuming you swapped transmission with engine) that looks like this:

Also, that bracket on the rear section should attach to a similar part on the rear subframe like this:

Also two muffler straps with rubber bushings that I don't care to search for.
Your best bet is to head to a junkyard and pull a full exhaust off a 325i, or any 6 cyl car if you don't care about dual/single.Originally posted by priapismMy girl don't know shit, but she bakes a mean cupcake.Originally posted by shamesonUsually it's best not to know how much money you have into your e30Comment

Thanks for the pics man! I know the second hanger is there, and for some reason the people at the exhaust shop were basically pretending that it was worthless. Best way to connect exhaust to it? I Will look for the first hanger next time I'm under the car, because the transmission is not the stock transmission.Alright, There should be an exhaust hanger bracket bolted to the bottom/back of the G260 (assuming you swapped transmission with engine) that looks like this:

Even with a muffler? He quoted me 300-400 for just the exhaust, and it would be straight piped. Then he called someone and got a quote for the stock muffler for an 89 325 and it was like $375. so all in would be close to 800$ because they also charged me 25$ just to "inspect it"BMW tech

Around here, $1000 seems to be the minimum if you want a cat, flange after the headers, and one muffler (for stainless, mig'd with non-stainless wire... but I can't see non-stainless being that much cheaper, since labour is the real killer)Originally posted by priapismMy girl don't know shit, but she bakes a mean cupcake.Originally posted by shamesonUsually it's best not to know how much money you have into your e30Comment

#2 is what connects that piece. All the other hangers for the muffler are also in that module. In case you're new to realoem, don't believe the prices.Originally posted by priapismMy girl don't know shit, but she bakes a mean cupcake.Originally posted by shamesonUsually it's best not to know how much money you have into your e30Comment
