Stock m20 magnaflow 2.5 dual in dual out?

Hi, I found this magnaflow muffler on craigslist for $40 https://statesboro.craigslist.org/pts/4917587796.html and was wondering if it would fit well on stock m20 exhaust. I've only seen one guy with a setup like this here: http://www.e30tech.com/forum/showthread.php?t=119791.

Would it cost much to get it installed? And how come I see more e30s with a single inlet and dual outlet magnaflow rather than dual inlet, dual outlet? Is that a better setup?

engine is stock besides bigger M50 injectors and Mark D chip

    Thanks for any input

ETA: I bought it for the $40 and after measuring it, the part number is #14468. Gonna take it to muffler shop and see if he can put it on for $40 which is his normal rate

Probably because there are many E30's with rotted out exhausts or swapped cars who had new exhausts made. A new single exhaust is cheaper to fab than a true dual.

But which is better in performance/sound quality if there's a difference, full dual exhaust or a single exhaust???.. I have been thinking in replacing my rusted our OEM exhaust but i haven't found much in whats the difference in dual or single exhaust in wich is better

Nope, just replaces the stock muffler with this one.
