    Ansa exhaust for 325is

    Hey,
I was thinking of doing an exhaust for my car, and this local exhaust specialist recommended the ansa cat-back for my car. I want to get your opinions, though. Which exhaust do you guys like best for first performance, then sound? Thanks

Everyone is going to say they hate it, it rusts fasts, and it will wear out in two years...

I'm happy with mine, for the price. Last one I had on my old E30 lasted about 5 years in Ohio (=salt in winters=rust).

Did it effect your performance and mpg at all? Or is it mainly for sound?

It was mainly because my old exhaust was rusting away. Sound is nice though.

I have the ansa oem replacement, sound is still the same and I couldnt tell a performance gain(probably a decrease lol) but my stock muffler was rusted out. I'm looking to get a triflo. A kid here in town has one and it sounds amazing.

the stock exhaust (Ebersprecher) is already cheap, don't waste money on ansa crap.

Id pony up for the IE myself, but my buddy rocked an ANsa for 3 years daily through NE winters, and it still performed like a champ, no serious rust problems.

Don't get the Ansa, spend the extra money and get a decent catback.

I have an ansa exhaust off a 91 325ic and i like it much better than the rusted magna flow that was on the car when i bought it..sounds nice, could be louder but im satisfied with it for now...it performs good no rust and i actually have pimpass gas mileage 20 city/33-35 hwy

I have an ansa exhaust and I havent had any problems with rust sound is quite when your driving like your grandma is a passenger and aggressive at the same time when you lay into the loud pedal.

I would suggest you change your driving style if you want better mileage rather than look at spending money on an exhaust.
