    Exhaust keeps falling down.

I have an 89 325is coupe, and for the second time in less than 3000 miles the exhaust fell down because the rear metal clamp/hangers broke.... New motor and trans mounts.

This car was manual swapped by the previous owner. On the front of the exhaust before the cat there is another, what looks like mount point that is currently not connected. This mount should there ::http://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Inf...%20&SVSVSI=229

But it is missing. I do not see where that front mount would bolt onto on the bottom of the car... Maybe I'm missing another bracket or something? Am I just blind?

Does anyone have any pictures of the proper way this mount bolts to the underside of the car?

    Thanks....

You should have #4 here that mounts to the back of the tranny, and to the exhaust pipe with #7

        Thanks guys for the info.

So uturn, that is interesting. I do not have this. I'm trying to see where this bolts onto the back of the trans... Not seeing any bolt holes for it, are they actually in the casting of the trans case??

I've never ran that exhaust trans mount, for a little over 5 years and never had it fall off. But now I can see why my exhaust downpipe flex pipe has a crack in it
