side exit exhaust

    side exit exhaust

    --my car will be purely for track--- i want to run my exhaust to exit on the passenger side jus b4 the rear wheel, but i notice the gas tank is quite close... does anyone run this setup and have there been any fires to report ?

    why both with side exit - just run a pipe to the back.

    That's what I'd do, anywya. ;)

        Im just guessing here, but i dont see it being a problem as long as your gas tank doesnt have a hole in it or something...all the fuel lines from the tank run along the driver side

            One of the guys from Ter-Tech had his e30 like that. You can see the pipe coming out of the passenger side.

              man, that car look like it took a beating and all i see is a bunch of grass..lol.
              actually, i do see the piping routed and that is similar to what i want to do-- is that guy a local guy ?
