Well lets just say the power didn't drop off until the tech let off the throttle, which was at 6600rpm. It was on a stock m20 with 19lbs designII injectors, shitty raised redline chip and the regular homemade intake with heatsheild. My ehxaust consisted of the headers down to the bavauto mid pipes out a brullen(no cat). the sound to some was absurdly loud but eh whatever, it rumbled down low and screamed up top(like a race car). I have a video clip of it on the dyno but i have no way to host it and i'm on 56k

getting them to fit was a PITA it's like a puzzle but once they were in it was nice it didnt' hit anything, only problem i had with them was that they hung really low and i scraped on everything. Surprsingly they weren't flattened out as i expected, theyr'e superb quality. As said on the catalog they're not approved for epa for street usage, so if you wanna pass emissions you'll have a hard time, i found out the hard way. I think the main reason why was that the o2 sensor was only measuring 3 of the 6cyl because it was only one one tube. I hope this helps, man what a novel

but w/o dyno numbers headers remain a big "if"...on a relatively stock lump. Yet,considering how much my 2.5 " ex system increased my fun factor while driving , I still am hypnotized by the idea of LT headers....... Thnx!

well i the numbers to the wheels are 141hp and 137tq, it would be more if i had a quality chip in there. i had the dyno sheet around here some where. It was definately worth it to me, for the sound and look of it, and it did add a bit of power. just the sound of it wide open made it worth it

I have their crank scraper in my engine.

When I was puttin it in, I wanted to make sure I was doin it right - so I called them up and they gave me some quick directions.

I've honestly never had a problem. And, I have more products from them on my car than any other specialty e30 place.

....the looks, sound, and a bit of hi end power would make them worth it to me also! But I have to pass NY inspections also. How do those numbers compare to a stock M20?........

i stayed with bavauto like i said and they should be in on the 1st or the 30th. i cant wait!! i might bring it to a dyno after i put them on as well ill let you guys know whats going on. might be alittle while before i get to the dyno though. im suprised, i raced a wrx (not sti) the other day and i kinda walked away from the thing especialy in the corners not sure if he didnt know how to drive but the bimmer does know how to handle.:up:

damn thing is going to be loud as hell ive heard a clip from someone on youtube.com. sounds pretty cool but very loud. i do have an ansa muffler on the back so that should help tone it down but im still going to put it all on. everything looks to just slip together clamps and all. hopefully wed ill get it all in.

i got them in last night sounds weird with the ansa muffler on it. well just driving around town it sounds weird but i had my friend give it a go for the money and it sounds damned good. so now my mission is to get a different muffler and bring it to a dyno.the one thing about the headers is that its a realy close fit it rubs on everything im getting crazy vibrations in the car around 5k from it so i have to put it back in the air and see if i can fix some of it.other than that my ecu got alittle used to everything being changed and its starting to pick up alot more than the original exhaust.

mine vibrated alot too, check your motor mounts, mine were pretty much non-existant....I have ZERO vibrations now:)

im getting phantom sounds now..hhmmm i heard a loud ping sound almost like a bb getting shop at a tin can..freaked me out i thought my pipe fell on the ground or something. wondering if anyone else has any ideas on that noise? i hope the pipe didnt crack or something

my car sounds like a weak honda now any help finding a used muffler thats not expensive will be a god blessing!!!! please i hate it. ansa was a good replacement untill i started puting shit on the car.
