I need some air flow to my turbo ..

The e30 I picked up around a month ago is turbo'd. It was taken from a toyota supra so it's a decent size. When it gets used a lot it really heats up the hood right above it, and I need some cool air flow to keep things.... cool. I found a sick e30 m3 online and its got something I'm really interested in. Here's what it looks like.

I'm really just wondering how easy such a thing would be to install properly and how well it would work. Also what you guys think.

    Thanks.
    Josh

Step 1: search: Heat shield and turbo
      Step 2: Read
      Step 3: Buy/make/install.

      All aside.

Not to nitpick, but that car is pretty badass. I think it's more than a hack job with chicken wire. Oh and it's not an m3 either.

thats what it looks like now. Does anyone have any other options besides sticking a tacky hood scoop on?

google turbo blanket. I mean it gets plenty of airflow through there, short of removing your high beam on that side you can't do much else. I'd think more about keeping the heat in the exhaust than getting cool air to the outside of the turbo, get a turbo blanket and some header wrap for the whole downpipe, should probably help things out

looks like four GM LSx coils

                          maybe driven by MegaSquirt?

and about that black car, I'm not so sure it's an M3. Looks like a coupe with flairs added, to me
