    turbo help

    hey guys i have a 325is 87 i am looking to do a turbo.
the only kits i can find are DIY kits and need to be taken to en exhaust shop and cut and molded.
Does anyone know where i can find a kit that is made specifically for the e30?
I want to keep it pretty cheap i might do an m50 swap very soon as well and dont want to spend more then 1500 on the turbo set up. what other parts and upgrades would i need for the turbo?

If you want thing easy fast and cheap, you might want to consider buying a Honda.

Time for you to study a bit.

AFAIK, no one make a prefab E30 downpipe.

The 524td downpipe might clear the firewall?

You need to do a LOT of research, and if you need to ask what parts and upgrades are necessary to turbo an engine your not even close to being ready to try it. An m50 swap is significantly more complicated and involved than turbocharging. Do the leg work and learn it inside out before you attempt it, and asking more specific questions will get you a better response.

you can likely get an entire turbo kit on ebay.... wont be of the best quality but it'll include everything except downpipe.

and you'll have to do it yourself.

My turbo m20 was about $1500. I bought my H1C, 666fab manifold adapter, BOV, from the forums. Wastegate and intercooler/piping from ebay. I built the megasquirt myself. If you wait for deals, you can do it pretty inexpensively.
