        Because that's a Chinese knock off. You can get them even cheaper on evilbay.

          Makes total sense. How does it compare to the Garrett? Obviously it's far superior, but for just around town at 7-9psi, would it be worth saving th extra $600?

            do not do it. those turbos suck wang to the max. a used quality tarbo is what you need.

              I have used them without any mechanical problems, but beware that they are not what they are advertised as. I reverse-engineered one and found the journal bearings are the old Garrett type, and the impellers didn't match the trim levels they were supposed to be. With that said, no, they will not make near the power a Garrett will.

                Yes, and a real Super 60 would actually be a decent match for an M20 so long as you don't have extravagant power goals. As stated above, those particular turbos are cheap because they chinese crap.

                  they last 2 years or so, which by then they spool real slow and act funny and have shaft play and such.

                  but that crap makes 245 wheel at 8-9psi seems like almost any other turbo on the market...while they are fresh
