Got the head back a few days ago.

It's all back together and all that's needed is bleeding of the coolant system. Need to check the head studs after a heat cycle then to the rollers.

Thanks man...not sure how much it would cost cause I did everything myself. I rented the groove-o-matic from max psi.

It was done already...but then again it's a project car and this is what it takes.

Been a while since I updated this thread. The car ran well for a while and after a month I notices the headgasket had a slight leak fom cyl 1. So I ripped it apart before anything got worse and sure enough the headgasket had a tear in it right were the water jacket is.

That led me to weld the jackets and oring the block. Should have the head back this week. Had the head decked and did a 3 angle valve job as the seats were warped from welding the jackets. Here are a few pics of the head welded and the block oringed.

I haven't made a manifold yet so I don't really sell them. I kinda feel it cheaper just to buy one since I don't have all the proper tools and jigs to make one.

So the car is up and running . Feels good to hear those rockers once again lol. Everything so far went smooth. Did a heat cycle then let cool down and re torqued the head.

Took it for a quick drive to see how everything felt and it felt great.
Seems to be loading up a little bit and low rpm's but I still need to get it tuned.

The tune session is this sat tuning at wastegate spring pressure which is 11 psi. Drive it around for about a month or so just to make sure everything is perfect and I have no leaks of any kind before going for more power.

I'm hoping for something around 300 horse at 11 psi but we'll see what happens. Here's a crappy vid my buddy took but it's better than nothing I'll post a few more up this week as I break in the motor.
